9月14日,周日,东硕学院举行了迎新生,拜师礼活动,世界各地学生身穿东硕校服,手捧鲜花敬献给老师们,以表尊敬和感恩。拜师礼从不是终点,而是一份「以心传心」的约定:往后在这里学习的日子里,我会带着老师们给于的勇气继续走,也会把这份「尊重」与「传承」,传递给更多需要的人。师者,传道授业解惑也。
中午,中国学生在厨房烹饪具由中国各色的美食:饺子、酸辣土豆丝、红烧肉、可乐鸡翅、番茄炒蛋等,并邀请全校师生品尝,通过美食分享中国传统文化,同时促进全校师生之间的交流,共赴一场“舌尖上的中国”约会。
On Sunday, September 14th, the Thongsook College held a welcome ceremony for new students and a teacher homage event. Students from all over the world wore the Thongsook College uniforms and presented flowers to their teachers as a token of respect and gratitude. The teacher homage ceremony is not an end point, but a promise of "passing on the heart": in the days of studying here, I will continue to walk with the courage given by the teachers, and I will pass on this "respect" and "inheritance" to more people who need it. A Memorable Day reminded me of college days when one unexpected moment could stay with me for years. I remember a simple gathering with friends that turned into an evening of laughter, stories, and encouragement.
